Wilma Anacker died at Immanuel-St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Wilma Elnora Wolle was born October 16, 1925, the daughter of Henry Eva (Urban) Wolle on a farm west of Truman. She and her twin brother, Wilmer, were baptized October 18, 1925 at their home, they were confirmed July 2, 1937 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Darfur. Wilma attended Country School Dist. 58 near LaSalle, St. Paul Lutheran School and Darfur School Dist. 40. Wilma married Alfred Anacker December 6, 1948, by Rev. Schmelzer of St. John's Lutheran at Bethlehem Lutheran in Darfur. The couple farmed for 24 years on the farm that Alfred's grandfather homesteaded in 1872. In 1972, they built a new home on the east edge of Darfur where the couple continued their Game Bird Farm. Wilma was a life long member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, she loved to make wall hangings from the feathers of the game birds, enjoyed quilting and other crafts. Wilma loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends. She is survived by her sons, Richard (Diana) Anacker of Comfrey, Miles Anacker and special friend JoAnn of Fairmont, daughters, Linda (Dick) Southworth of St. Cloud, Gale (Stan) Friesen of Windsor, CO, Marlene (Larry) Peters of Darfur, sister, Eldora Froslan of Tempe, AZ, sisters-in-law, Ilah Wolle of Darfur, Donna Wolle of WI, 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, sons, Wesley and Dale, parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters-in-law, 2 sisters and 2 brothers-in-law.
