William Durdin

William Bill R. Durdin was born on June 9, 1940 in St. Paul, MN the son of Frederick L. Everetta M. (Weckman) Durdin. He married Mary T. Baumann on January 27, 1992 in Las Vegas, NV. Bill started as a machinist, earned his degrees and was a manager many years at 3M. He loved to travel and visit museums. Spending time with family was a priority. Bill was the best Fix-it-man and he always read the instructions first. Bill was one who would actually read the prospectus on stocks. Bill loved to read and learn throughout his whole life. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. He is survived by his wife, Mary T. Baumann of Sleepy Eye, children; Pam (Rick) Vorwerk of Cottage Grove, MN, Fred (Carole) of Henderson, NV, Michael (Kristine) of N. St. Paul, MN, step-children, Pam (Terry) Weicherding of Sleepy Eye, Trish (Stu) Blum on Quantico, VA, 11 grandchildren; Tim Jenny Vorwerk, Jessica (Andrew) Durdin-Ruhl, Jeff Durdin, Casey William Durdin, Katie (Chris) Broermann, Erik Wyatt Craft, Claire Bode Blum, 3 great grandchildren, Eva Amelie Ruhl and Amelia Broermann. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Michael, sister, Patricia Robinson and grandson, James Vorwerk.
