Wendy Mahoney-Berg

Wendy Laraine Mahoney was born on July 12, 1977, at Opp, Alabama, the daughter of Robert and Linda (Allen) Mahoney. Wendy grew up in the Redwood Falls area where she graduated from Redwood Valley High School in 1996. She went on to receive her LPN degree from Minnwest Technical College while raising her family. Wendy worked at several nursing homes and clinics in the Redwood Falls area. She was also a PCA for a young boy. She soon met and married the love of her life, Dominique Berg. The couple were married on March 20, 2004 at Augustana Lutheran Church in St. James. They made their home in St. James. Wendy continued her nursing career by working in St. James, New Ulm , Mankato and Fairmont. She loved taking care of her family and others. She was active in girl scouts and the VFW Aux. while living in Redwood Falls. She enjoyed the early days of raising her family, spending time teaching her kids gardening, crocheting, learning to drive a car with a manual transmission. Wendy was an avid reader and loved her dogs. She is survived by her husband Dominique Berg of St. James, children Lily Ann Berg of St. James, Adley (Liz) Lemke of St. Louis Park, Cora Lee (Jacob) Vicario of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Tayler Mahoney-Berg of St. James, James Berg of Cottage Grove, Jack Mahoney-Berg of St. James, her parents Robert Linda Mahoney of Redwood Falls, sisters Robbin Mahoney and special friend Jeff Freitag of Danube, Bobby Mahoney and special friend Jordan Senkyr of Redwood Falls, her in-laws Raymond Judy Berg of St. James, Sandy Berg of St. James, Cameron Berg and special friend Jordan Cargill of St. James, Jesse Berg of St. James, Polo Berg of St. James, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by a son Hunter Douglas Mahoney and daughter Kaitlyn Lisa Berg.
