Wayne Wolle

Wayne Richard Wolle, 77, of Welcome, Minnesota, died October 28, 2025, at Mayo Health System in Fairmont.

Funeral will be Monday, November 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Sturm Funeral Home in Saint James. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at East Sveadahl Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Saint James. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com.

Wayne Richard Wolle was born December 14, 1947, to Julius and Ruth (Swenson) Wolle in Saint James, Minnesota. He graduated from Saint James High School. Following graduation, he served in the US Army in Vietnam. On May 14, 1995, he married Cheryl Ringen.

After his service time, Wayne drove Semi for different companies, retiring in 2014. In his free time, he enjoyed playing cards and dominoes, watching the Minnesota Vikings, and fishing.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl and sister, Gloria (Wolle) Thulien.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; brother, David; sisters, Vivian (Vince) Olson, Victoria Janzen, and Marion Read; and brothers-in-law, LeRoy Thulien and Vernon Read.
