Tyler Hadley

November 16, 1993 — March 7, 2014

Tyler Scott Hadley, age 20, of Sleepy Eye, passed into eternal life on Friday, March 7, 2014, as a result of a car accident. Tyler was born on November 16, 1993, and graduated from Sleepy Eye Public High School in 2012. He was currently living and working in Mankato. Tyler was full of love, compassion and kindness. His love for his family and friends was evident, and it was unmistakable that Tyler always put his family first. He was selfless, humble and a friend to all. Everyone was on a level playing field with Tyler and he accepted people for who they were, never putting himself first. His big white smile and beautiful blue eyes lit up a room and made your heart melt. Tyler always had a strong faith, but after his sister Kaylie passed, he began to build an intimate relationship with God. He shared his faith with his friends and told them all the reasons why he loved God and why they should love Him, too. Tyler was so proud of the beautiful tattoo of the Serenity Prayer that he had placed over his heart and he chose to live his life by these words. Tyler, T-Hads, Ty, T, and Hadley (as his friends would call him), was an avid athlete. He loved playing and watching football, basketball, and golf, but his greatest of these was basketball. Some of the most memorable moments Ty experienced in his short life included being a member of the 2011-2012 Section 2A runner up basketball team, his game winning 3-point shot against New Ulm Cathedral during playoffs, and his two berths to the Minnesota State Golf Tournament. Tyler was a huge Miami Heat and LeBron James fan. He enjoyed watching the playoff games with his friends and taunting anyone who would cheer for the Lakers! We do not know why Tyler was taken so young, and we do not understand God's plan. But we Trust Him, and know that Tyler is now in the loving arms of our Lord and with his sister, Kaylie. He missed her with all of his heart and we can only imagine the reunion. We love you, Tyler, and we couldn't be more proud to call you our son. Until we meet again, may you bask in the beauty of God's grace and enjoy His kingdom with your sister, Kaylie. Spread your wings and fly, Ty. Heaven truly received another beautiful Angel. Tyler is survived by his parents Scott and Deb Hadley (Brockway) of Sleepy Eye, brother, Josh Hadley of Wabasso, sister and brother-in-law Jessica (Hadley) and Jacob Malone of St. Cloud, 3 nephews Connor, Grant and Riley Malone, his almost Brother, Steven Schroepfer of Sleepy Eye, Grandparents Alvin and Mary Brockway of Le Center, Jan Hadley of Parkers Prairie, his loving cat Nala who is also 20 years old, and Deuce the family dog.
