Ty Robert Kamleiter

Ty Kamleiter, age 60 of St. James, passed away at his home on January 6, 2023.

Ty Robert Kamleiter was born September 13, 1962 in Minneapolis, MN to Robert and Marlene "Mimi" (Larson) Kamleiter.
He attended elementary school in Coon Rapids and later went on to graduate High School in St. James. He served time as a United States Marine. He had a love for the Minnesota Renaissance Festival, especially Twig the Fairy and her pixie dust. Other hobbies included spending time with his children, painting, fishing, photography and playing horseshoes with his friends. He lived and worked in many places over 60 years making many loving friends along the way.

He is survived by his children, Dylan Kamleiter and Tara (Brian) Hermann; numerous grandchildren; girlfriend, Donna Demko; father-figure, Jimmy Anderson; sisters, Jill and Jami; brother Tod, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jay and Tim.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held for family and friends on Monday, January 16th 2023 from 2 to 6pm at the VFW in St. James, MN.  Sturm Funeral Home in St. James is assisting the family with arrangements.
