Trey Hunstad

Trey Elvin Hunstad was born on March 17, 1990, at Ames, Iowa, the son of Daron and Kathi (Kuyper) Hunstad. Trey grew up in the Amboy and Good Thunder area. He graduated from the Maple River High School in 2008 and went to lineman school at Southwest Community College at Jackson for one year. He returned to Amboy and went to work farming for Oakridge Farms. Trey loved the outdoors he enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and 4 wheeling. He enjoyed golfing with his dad, brother, grandpa and uncle. He loved spending time with friends and family. His favorite meals were goulash and spaghetti both served hot or reheated. Trey is survived by his mother Kathi (Charles) Travaille of Good Thunder, father Daron (Susan) Hunstad of St. James, brother Tyler Hunstad and special friend Chelsea Carey of Good Thunder, step-sisters Melissa (David) Etter of Mankato, Meghan Travaille of Los Angeles, CA, step-brother Preston Roloff and special friend Laura Boutwell of St. James, grandparents A. Wayne (Sue) Kuyper of St. James, Dennis (Kathy) Hunstad of St. James, Hartwin (Iona) Kietzer of Truman, many uncles, aunts, cousins and nephews.
