Travis Lee Janshen was born on March 14, 1977, to Earl and Marlette (Broesder) in Adrian, MN. After graduating, Travis did concrete construction work and was currently working for CNT Construction. On October 13, 2001, he was united in marriage to Teena (Bernardy) Nelson in Clements. Teena's boys Jacob, Andy, Jeremy, and James were welcomed into this union. Travis was a true father figure to the boys and loved them as his own and loved being a grandpa to their children. He was known for his heart of gold and known for his funny sense of humor. Travis worked with pigs and chickens on his hobby farm. He enjoyed hunting, his collection of guns, helping friends on their farm, trapshooting, ice fishing with a cold beer in his hand, listening to rock and country music, and fixing his truck and cars. Travis was a member of the Clements Sons of the American Legion. Travis passed away peacefully on September 21, 2021, at his home in rural Clements, at the age of 44. He is survived by his parents Earl and Marlette Janshen; spouse Teena Janshen; step-children - Jacob Nelson, Jeremy Nelson, James Carter; grandchildren - Payton Lidtke and Scarlet Carter; siblings - Jackie (Tony) Stuhr, Sherri (Jason) Wendt, Kim (Jer) Mueller; nieces and nephews; and his dog Chewy.
