Tobias "Toby" Zane Schultz

Tobias "Toby" Zane Schultz, age 16, of Bingham Lake, Minnesota, died on November 17, 2025, at his home.

Visitation will be Friday, November 21, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Windom Evangelical Free Church- Windom, Minnesota. A time of memory sharing will be held immediately following the visitation. 

Funeral Service will be held at Windom Evangelical Free Church in Windom on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be at a later date.

Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Mountain Lake, MN.

Tobias Zane Schultz was born June 3, 2009, to Barry and Rebecca Schultz in Mitchell, SD. Toby was an amazing young man, some called him "old farmer". He was always tinkering on his tractors and lawnmowers. Toby had many plans of fixing them up to their former glory and was good at it. 

He also loved to play his guitar, and loved music. It made him feel connected to God. He was a gentle person. Sometimes he would try to hide his smile and when he couldn't any longer, it would turn into a silly grin. Toby was always willing to lend a hand no matter what. He would be there with you in the middle of it. Toby loved people so well. He listened to them and really cared about what they had to say. 

His name had very special meaning, Tobias means God is good. Zane means gracious gift of God. Toby was a gracious gift, loved by everyone he knew.

Tobias is survived by his parents, Barry and Rebecca Schultz; siblings, Abriana Schultz, Boaz (Anna) Schultz, Aleeza Schultz, and Tait Schultz; grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
