Burial will follow at the LaSalle Cemetery in LaSalle. Terrance Lee Johnson, "Terry", died unexpectedly at his home on Friday, August 20, 2021, at the age of 67. He was born June 25, 1954, in Trimont, MN, to LeDale and Esther (Askeland) Johnson. Terry graduated from St. James High School in 1972. After high school, Terry worked on the family farm with his father. After farming, he worked his way up from being an auto mechanic to eventually retiring from Channel as a District Sales Manager in 2016. Even after retirement, Terry couldn't stay away from the agriculture lifestyle. He continued to help his good friend, Matt Wolle, during planting and harvesting. Terry married his grade school sweetheart, Colleen, in Las Vegas, on December 6, 2017. They would make an annual trip to Las Vegas for the National Rodeo Finals, go on fishing trips, and traveled to several different destinations including Mexico, Alaska, and the Caribbean. Terry had several passions and hobbies throughout his life. You could always find him tinkering in the garage or sitting at his workbench fixing toy tractors. Terry was a jack-of-all-trades and a perfectionist in all he did. He loved to relax by watching old Western movies and tv shows. What Terry enjoyed most in life was spending time with his wife, his grandchildren, family and friends. He will always be remembered for his warm smile, big heart and willingness to help those who needed him.
