Teresa Lynn Campbell, 34, passed away while living in Vero Beach, Florida on December 29, 2012. Teresa was born on Dec. 29, 1978 at Hill AFB, UT. to Betty and Steven Campbell. She moved to Ellsworth AFB, where she lived with her mother and older sister. As an Air Force brat she enjoyed exploring and embracing new places throughout her childhood. She still remembered her time at Kadena AB, Japan as she traveled with her mother in the Air Force. She enjoyed camping, basketball, volleyball and the beach, but most of all she enjoyed her Minnesota family and always thought of Sleepy Eye as her "home" away from home. She doubly enjoyed all the Mages Family get togethers at Christmas and the summer visits to play with her cousins. Teresa graduated from Douglas High School, Ellsworth AFB SD. In 1997, she continued on to college at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, where she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Behavioral Science/ Spanish and minored in Japanese. Also during this Teresa served with the Minnesota Air National Guard (Twin Cities) for four years. She was on active duty for 2 years of the 4 years and was deployed to Saudi Arabia (Desert Storm) with the 133rd Airlift Wing. She served as a Security Forces specialist and also taught weapon training for her unit. She was discharged as a Staff Sgt/E-5. After graduating college, Teresa moved to Freeport, NY (Long Island) and worked as a security manager for many businesses such as Saks Fifth Avenue, CompuServe, Donald Trump, and Martha Stewart. She also was involved in setting up security for several Federal courthouses, Social Security, and book signing for the author of the Harry Potter books. Teresa moved to Vero Beach, Fl, where she was employed by the University of Florida Environmental Management and was working on her Masters Degree in Organizational Behavioral Mgmt. Teresa is survived by her mother, Betty Jass (Mages) of Lake Crystal MN, her sister Sandra K. Zimiga of Andrew AFB, MD., Nephew A. J. Zimiga of Castlewood, SD., Grandmother Barbara Mages of Sleepy Eye MN, and numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins living in Minnesota. Those preceding her in death, Grandfather Alphonse Mages, Uncle Chuck Strate, cousins Michael Gall, Douglas Mages, and Paula Mages.
