Steven Meyer

Steven Dwight Meyer, 72, of Saint James, Minnesota, died on September 3, 2026, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Methodist Campus in Rochester.

Steve was born on January 5, 1954, to Dwight and Sylvia (Peters) Meyer in Madelia, Minnesota. He graduated from Madelia High School in 1972. On July 5, 1980, he married Mary Rose in Flint, Michigan. Together, they raised four sons.

Steve worked for ST Industries for many years, retiring in 2019. In his free time, he enjoyed working on area farms, assisting any farmer that was in need, gathering and chopping firewood, watching baseball and football, and simply cruising around town.

Steve is survived by his sons, Justin (Tiffany) Meyer, Keith (Kyndra) Meyer, Lance Meyer, and Mitchell (Lila) Meyer; grandchildren, Lincoln, Emily, Kaytlyn, Holden, Landon, Jaxon, Bryson, Thomas, Dulanie, and one on the way; sister, Joan (Rod) Husby; and several nieces and nephews.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary; and brothers, Herman "Sonny" Meyer and James Meyer.
