Steven Jaeger

On November 26th, 2025, Steven Vernon Jaeger of Lamberton passed away at the age of 67 years.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton, MN from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Matthew's Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton. 

Steve was born on October 3rd, 1958 to Vernon and JoAnn (Saxton) Jaeger in Springfield, MN. He was the second of four children raised on the farm outside of Lamberton. After graduating from high school, Steve worked for M & K Bridge Construction in Walnut Grove, and then R&G Construction out of Marshall, MN until his retirement in 2023. He lived a simple life on the farm close to his parents.

Steve is survived by his son Sean Jaeger of Pinehurst, North Carolina; and his siblings, Patricia (Krag) Johnson of Redwood Falls, MN, Sandy Frericks of Walker, MN, and David Jaeger of Sanborn, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents Vernon and JoAnn.
