Siriamone "Amone" Phomsopha

Siriamone "Amone"  Phomsopha age 61, of Mountain Lake, MN died on March 1, 2025, at his home.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Sturm Funeral Home, Mountain Lake Chapel and will continue on Saturday from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at the Sturm Funeral Home, Mountain Lake Chapel.

Service will be held at the Sturm Funeral Home, Mountain Lake Chapel, on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 1:00 pm.

Interment will be at Mountain Lake City Cemetery on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 10:00 am.

Amone, passed away in his home in Mountain Lake on Saturday, March 1st, 2025.

Born in Pakse, Laos he was the only son of Somsy and Lothoun Phomsopha, he is survived by seven sisters in Laos. He leaves behind his life partner Ae Xaykosy and seven stepchildren.

Amone was a man with a few words, hardworking, and resilient. Mone and Ae made Mountain Lake their home since 2002 where they worked and raised their family.

Music was his life, he enjoyed playing his keyboard and sang at events, and gatherings with friends and family; other times were to hang out with his musician friends singing, fishing, or just fixing cars or remodeling the home.
