Sim Leunvane

Sim Leunvane was born to Eurn Leunvane and Mouy Thi Leunvane on April 20, 1957 at Wat Tthaynoy, Viengtian Province, Kingdom of Laos. He, his parents and sister escaped Laos in the mid 70's, and lived several years in the Nongkhai Thailand refugee camp. He came to America on April 22, 1980. He lived in Boston for about ten years before moving to the midwest where he lived the rest of his life. Sim died at the age of 52 years, on Sunday evening, November 1, 2009, at the Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. Sim is survived by his brother Uthen and sister-in-law Von of Mountain Lake, MN; his sister Anna in Noiseil, France; and four nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and his father and mother.
