Sharon Zimmerman

Sharon Lea Zimmerman was born on September 15, 1946, in Tracy, MN, the daughter of Walter and Virginia (Coulter) Pilaczynski. Sharon was baptized on October 5, 1946, and confirmed on November 27, 1960, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Walnut Grove, MN. She attended and graduated from Walnut Grove High School. She was united in marriage to Lynn Anderson and lived in Revere and Seattle, WA before moving to Walnut Grove. She married Gary Zimmerman on July 12, 1971, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Walnut Grove. She worked for Norwood for the past 28 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sleepy Eye and a member of the Legion Auxiliary. Sharon enjoyed reading, fishing, knitting, camping, her pets, time at the lake, and visiting with family and friends. Sharon died on Saturday, July 6, 2013, in Sleepy Eye at the age of 66 years. She is survived by her husband - Gary of Sleepy Eye; son - Brett Anderson of Mankato; a brother - Gary (Sharon) Pilaczynski of Walnut Grove, MN; and step siblings - John (Muriel) Coulter of Tracy, MN and Jeanne (Steve) Vogel of Apple Valley, MN.
