Sharon Dick

Sharon Diane Falk was born to Theodore and Luetta (Freitag) Falk on March 29, 1949, at the Bethel Hospital in Mountain Lake, MN. She received her education in public schools in Darfur and Butterfield, MN. Sharon was baptized at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Butterfield, confirmed in her Christian faith at Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Darfur, and she was currently a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mountain Lake. On June 26, 1970, Sharon was united in marriage to Leroy Jay Dick at the First Presbyterian Church in Mountain Lake. They made their home in Mountain Lake where she worked at the Windom Cafe, the Eventide Nursing Home, and she was most of all a mother to her three daughters. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, mowing lawn, flower gardens, games and puzzles, camping and vacation trips, truck pulls, and Fester. Sharon died on Wednesday morning, May 28, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Village in Mountain Lake, at the age of 59. Sharon is survived by her husband, Leroy of Mountain Lake, MN; three daughters, Sherri Kamolz and her husband Jason, Linda Watkins and her husband Dana, and Lori Lugo and her husband Josh, all of Mountain Lake; five grandchildren, Courtney Kamolz, Kelsey Lugo, Austin Watkins, Adam Watkins and Jaylee Lugo; a sister, Sandra Root and her husband Joe of Frost, MN; a brother, Rick Falk and his wife Diane of Arvada, CO; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Shirley Falk; and a nephew, Nicholas Falk.
