Ruth Schultz

Ruth Helen Ensz, the daughter of Gerhard Bernhard and Barbara (Jantzen) Ensz was born on September 4, 1925, at Plymouth, NE. She received her education at a country school near her home. On April 6, 1956, Ruth was united in marriage to Leonard D. Schultz in Beatrice, NE. They made their home in Mountain Lake, MN, where Ruth and Leonard raised their family and cared for each other. She worked for many years at the Manor Inn in Mountain Lake. Ruth was baptized upon confession of her faith on June 13, 1943, and she was a member of the Evangelical Mennonite Brethren Church in Mountain Lake. She enjoyed tending her garden, cooking, sewing, embroidery and reading. Ruth Helen (Ensz) Schultz, age 81 ,of Mountain Lake, Minnesota died on Wednesday evening, November 29, 2006 at Windom Area Hospital in Windom, Minnesota. Ruth is survived by her husband, Leonard Schultz of Mountain Lake; three children, Joyce Schultz, Paul Schultz and Larry Schultz, all of Mountain Lake; a brother, Albert and his wife Bertina Ensz of Heston, KS; two sisters, Johanna Ensz and Dorothy Claassen, both of Beatrice, NE; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, William Ensz; and a great niece, Brooke Claassen.
