Ruth Rusten

Ruth Rusten age 88, of Madelia, MN, died on November 21, 2020, at Heartland Senior Living in Truman, MN. A family graveside service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Madelia, on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 2:00 pm. The clergy will be Pastor Brad Kuebler. Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home, Pilgrim Chapel in Madelia, Minnesota. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com. Ruth was born in Madelia, MN on February 3, 1932. She was the daughter of Gilbert "Gib" and Helen (Ellingsberg) Rusten. Ruth was a lifelong resident of Madelia. She was caregiver for both of her grandmothers and also for her parents. She enjoyed baking, gardening, visiting, reading and watching her soaps. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Karen Rusten; 4 nephews and their families: William Rusten (special friend Pam), Robert (Theresa) Rusten, Alan (Kitty) Rader, Dean (Tammy) Rader; special cousin and caregiver, Ardis Davis, along with other relatives and friends.
