Ruth Kronback

Private services will be held on Saturday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lamberton. Ruth Bertha Kronback was born on November 6, 1935 in Cottonwood County, near Sanborn, MN, the daughter of Ferdinand and Katherine (Mein) Pabst. She was raised on a farm near Sanborn, MN. Following her graduation from high school, she traveled by ship to Germany with her mother to visit relatives. She married Vernon Kronback on April 8, 1960. The couple farmed in Waterbury Township. Ruth kept house and raised 5 children. Ruth enjoyed going to town for coffee and visiting relatives and friends. Ruth died on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Valley View Manor in Lamberton at the age of 85. She is survived by her children - Armin (Barb) Kronback of Ceylon, MN, Perry (Betty) Kronback of Lamberton, MN, Eric Kronback of Lamberton, MN, Faye Dietz of Sleepy Eye, MN, and Jeff (Deb) Kronback of Madison Lake, MN; grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sisters - Emily Brown of Lamberton, MN and Peggy Bredvold of Springfield, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law - Patrick Dietz; daughter-in-law - Susana Kronback; sisters - Hilda Weicherding, Lorraine Polzin; Gertrude Wall, and Marie Essig; brothers - Albert, Carl, Emil, and John; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
