Ruby Rose Mueller, age 97, of Madelia, died on February 10, 2024, at Living Meadows at Luther in Madelia.
A memorial service will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Madelia on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Madelia.

Ruby was born May 23, 1926, to Henry and Christina (Hoehn) Zottnick in Braddock, North Dakota. She graduated from Braddock High School in in 1944 and continued her education at St. Mary's College in Bismarck, North Dakota, receiving a degree in nursing. On June 11, 1950, Ruby married Theodore Mueller. Together, they raised six children.
Ruby worked as a RN beginning in Jamestown and Stanley, North Dakota, eventually moving to Minnesota, working in Waseca and Mankato and finally retiring from the hospital in Madelia in 1995.
In her free time, Ruby enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins, quilting with her church, hardanger, crossword puzzles, playing cards, music, dancing in her youth, attending her children's activities, and all of her pets and animals she cared for through the years.
Ruby is survived by her children, Timothy (Betty) Mueller, Gary (Carol) Mueller, Lynn Marie (Harry) Wolf, Robert (Debra) Mueller, Debra Mueller, and Patricia Kirchner; grandchildren, Vanessa (Matt), Ryan (Angela), Ellen (Rob), Emily (Mike), Bradley, and Rebecca; great grandchildren, Samantha, Zoe, Mila, and Bella; sister, Helen Zottnick; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Zottnick and Hulda (Glen) Chambers; and brother-in-law, Arnold Mueller.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Theodore in 2012; three brothers; and one sister.
