Ruby Gieseke

Ruby Gieseke was born on May 29th, 1930 in Rutland Township Martin County, the daughter of John Gieseke and Bertha Plenge. Ruby moved to her apartment at REM Heartland on June 26th 1991. She worked at the Enterprise in Madelia for 24 years and was currently involved in the leisure program. You'll know Ruby for her flair for fashion. From her trendy hairdos and the blush on her cheeks to her stylish clothes and polished nails; her outfit is only complete when she has her jewelry on. Besides the jewelry on her neck, and the bracelets on her wrists, Ruby also liked to carry her extra jewelry and fashionable items in her fanny pack with her. She was very conscientious about her appearance, especially if there was a man around. Ruby often fixed her hair to be sure it was looking nice. Ruby loved to play games, her favorite one was Connect 4. On nice evenings, Ruby enjoyed sitting outside or going for a walk. She preferred to be somewhere peaceful as often as possible. Ruby found it relaxing to sit in a quiet room and listen to her audio books, which she would rent from the library on Saturdays. Ruby also enjoyed baking sugar free cookies on the weekends to have with her preferred beverage usually being coffee or pop.
