Roxann Moeller

December 25, 1957 — November 4, 2013

Roxann Kay (Pufpaff) Moeller, 55, died on Nov. 4, 2013 at her home in Madelia, Minn. Roxann was born on Dec. 25, 1957 to Erwin and Mae (Cady) Pufpaff, of Madelia. She graduated from Madelia High School in 1976. She attended Mankato State University and graduated in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a Minor in Computer Science. She married Michael Moeller on June 16, 1984 at Salem Lutheran Church in Madelia. She worked as an accountant for most of her working life. She worked at Region 9 in Mankato for many years. She also worked as Business Manager for the Windom and then Madelia school districts. In 2003, poor health led to her gradual retirement from working. Roxann enjoyed many things. She enjoyed puttering in her gardens when her health allowed. Roxann enjoyed doing needlecrafts, and was particularly fond of cross-stitch and crochet. She also enjoyed playing role playing games with her family and friends. She particularly enjoyed playing the Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) game Final Fantasy XI where she became well-known for her Tarutaru character Noelbaby. As Noelbaby, she often hugged her friends' knees since, as she said it, "I'm so short it's all I can reach." Roxann is survived by her children: Jonathan Moeller and Heather (Matthew) Thomas, all of Madelia; her mother, Mae Pufpaff, Madelia; sisters: Karen (Leon) Miller, of St. Peter, and Becky Gersch, of New Ulm; brother Kenneth Pufpaff, of Mitchell S.D.; aunts; uncles; seven nieces and nephews; and her grandson Brayden White, of Michigan.
