Rosemary Wiltscheck

Rosemary Clara Wiltscheck was born August 7, 1927 in Sleepy Eye to Charles and Rose (Hillesheim) Wiltscheck. She was the youngest of seven girls and had many fond memories of growing up on the farm with her sisters. Rosemary attended country school District 17 through grade school, then attended St. Mary's Catholic School where she graduated in 1945 as Valedictorian. Rosemary had no children of her own, but she cherished each of her nieces and nephews and their families. She was the keeper of the Wiltscheck family connections, and she recorded wedding anniversaries, illnesses, deaths and birth dates of even her youngest great grand nieces and nephews. Rosemary worked a variety of jobs including Pietrus Foods, Haas Printing, and Del Monte. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where she took care of the votive lights (candles) and regularly attended Mass and the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Rosemary was also a member of the CCW and Christian Mothers. She will be remembered as a kind and faith-filled woman who enjoyed gardening, tending her yard, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her sisters- Marie (Larry) Tauer of Sleepy Eye, and Catherine (Philip) Sellner of Sleepy Eye; 33 nieces and nephews; and many grand and great grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters- Dorothy Krzmarzick, Viola Krzmarzick, Agnes Forster, and Elvera Neudecker; and 9 nieces and nephews.
