Rosalie Irene Kissner

Rosalie Irene was born on March 5, 1927 in Aberdeen, SD the daughter of Lee Roy and Eleanor (Spethman) Thurston. She grew up and attended the Groton High School through the 9th grade. Rosalie worked for Control Data in Redwood Falls, Haas Press and farmers in the Evan area before going to work for Del Monte. She enjoyed reading and gardening. Rosalie was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Sleepy Eye. Survivors include her sons, Stanley (Lorraine) of New Ulm, Carl (Carrie) of New Ulm, Richard of Springfield and Thomas of Sleepy Eye, 8 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and brother, Allen Thurston of Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Michael Sowers, husband, Curtis Kissner, brother, Bud Thurston and sisters Doris and Phyllis.
