Roger Klein

Roger Lee Klein was born on December 18, 1936, in Sleepy Eye, MN, the son of Otto and Dolores (Wagner) Klein. Roger enlisted in the Navy and was discharged in 1959. He married Joanne Marie Seidl on June 25, 1960, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye.They made their home in Sleepy Eye. Roger initially worked at the post office and later at Agrico Chemical Company for 17 years, managing it for 14 of those years. From 1976 to 1986 they ran the Montgomery Wards store in town. He then worked at AUI until retiring in 1999. Roger enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his grandkids and 9 o'clock break. He is survived by his wife, Joanne Marie Klein of Sleepy Eye, daughters, Lori (Steven) Dierke and children, Tyler, Troy and Bryce of Hudson, WI, Lisa (Tim) Eckstein and children, Craig and Kelsey of New Ulm, MN, sisters, Karen (John) Huettl of North Mankato, Linda Brennan of Burnsville, Judy (Bob) Paulson of Sleepy Eye, and Dianne Fischer of Las Vegas, Nevada; a brother-in-law - Roger Sellner; and sisters-in-law - Dorothy Klein and Cathy Klein.
