Roger Gore

Roger Gore, age 68, of St. James, died at his home on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. Private graveside services will be on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Calvary Cemetery in St. James with Rev. Mandy France officiating. A celebration of Life will be held at the Eagles Club in St. James on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 12-2pm. Roger Marvin Gore was born in St. James, Minnesota, on March 4, 1953, the son of Marvin Gore and Patricia (Gratz) Gore. Roger grew up in St. James graduated from St. James High School in 1971. He then attended the University of Minnesota where he graduated with honors. Roger worked at ST Industries and retired after 30 years. He had also worked at Westin's for several years. Roger loved sports. He was an avid golfer and loved his golf buddies. He enjoyed watch sports and gaming on his computer. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Roger is survived by his 3 sisters; Mary Lonsford of Brownsville, TX, Teresa Andrews of St. James, Beth Knickrehm and Toni Fearn of St. James, nieces and nephews; Ashley (Mark) Carlson of Henderson, Norm (Michele) Anderson of Fairmont, Tyler Knickrehm of New Ulm, Matthew (Jesse) Anderson of St. James, Shay (Kristopher) Forstrom of St. James, Kane Knickrehm and Haley Johnson of St. James, Dylan Nelson and Jess Owens, great-nieces and great-nephews; Kristin, Tadum, Alyvia, Amelia, Amari, Emily, Alden, Chloe and Kaylee. He was preceded in death by his parents.
