Roger Kenneth Crowe, age 90, of Springfield, MN died on July 5, 2026, at St. John Lutheran Home.

Mass of Christian burial will be on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 11:00 am at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Springfield.

Interment will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Redwood Falls, MN on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 1:00 pm .

Roger Kenneth Crowe was born on January 6, 1936, in Morrison County, Minnesota, the son of Lynn and Agnes (Schmolke) Crowe. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1953 and was honorably discharged. In 1957 he enlisted in the U.S. Airforce and was honorably discharged. Roger married Mary McGrane in 1971. The couple lived in Montana for a few years where Roger worked on a ranch. Returning to Minnesota they owned several businesses throughout their career. They have lived in Springfield for over 30 years. Roger enjoyed gardening, especially tomatoes, being outdoors, farming, and listening to polka and old-time music.

He is survived by his wife – Mary of Springfield, MN; children – Joy Puterbaugh of Mankato, MN and Cindy (Cary) Lindeman of Mankato, MN; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a nephew - Bill (Marlene) Roessler. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister – Monna Lentner, brother – Pat Crowe; and nieces and nephews.
