Robert Lee Peterson

Robert Lee Peterson was born April 21, 1943, in Iona, MN to Edward and Susan (Augeson) Peterson. He graduated from Westbrook High School and was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Guhlke on December 12, 1964, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lamberton. Robert worked for Marvin Knutson Farm Drainage, then was self-employed as Anderson-Peterson Farm Drainage until 1979. He then went to work for Wilson Trailer and in 1989 he bought the B and B Cafe. In 1993 he began to cook at Valley View Manor until his retirement in 2006. Robert enjoyed hunting, trapping, Vikings football, and gardening. He also enjoyed golfing, bowling, and canning. Robert Lee Peterson died Friday, November 23, 2018, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester at the age of 75. He is survived by wife Barbara of Lamberton; children- Shari Wright of St. Cloud, and Robert Peterson of Lamberton; grandchildren- Cassandra, Brookelyn and Daniel Peterson, and Janessa and Alex Wright; sisters- Pattie (Ray) Clark of Westbrook, and Joan Rohlfs of Avoca; and brother Tex Peterson of Worthington.
