Robert Kubly

Robert Orville Kubly was born on June 9, 1948, at Madelia, Minnesota, the son of Orville and Adeline (Haler) Kubly. Robert grew up in the St. James area where he graduated from High School in 1970. He worked at the court house for a short time before going to work at Tony Downs Foods, he worked for Tony Downs in St. James for 13 years and in Madelia for over 23 years before his health forced him to retire in 2006. Robert enjoyed many things, he loved to mow lawn, play bingo, bowling, riding his bike and walk. He enjoyed western movies, attending fairs and going to Farmfest. Robert was always willing to help others. He is survived by his brothers Duane, Lyle and Ralph all of St. James and Glenn of Truman, nephews, Brandon Kubly of Truman, Aaron Kubly of Nisswa, niece, Abigail Bedten of Aberdeen, SD, aunts uncles, Velva Haugen of Glenwood, LaVon Kubly of the Twin Cities, John (Lora Mae) Haler, Lawrence (Ruth) Haler, George Anacker all of St. James and Walter (Greta) Haler of Elmore and numerous cousins.
