Robert S Hood

Robert Scott Hood, age 64, was born to Wallace and Vivian (Davison) Hood on July 18, 1961, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 15, 2026.  There will be no public service.

Bob will be remembered for his kind soul, love for laughter and speed in anything he did, from riding horses as a kid, football in high school to his work at Jonti-Craft in Wabasso, MN. A fond memory was when Bob played varsity football with his brother Kevin. When he returned home, he enjoyed visiting with his siblings. Bob had many interesting stories of helping his brother Thomas cutting and splitting wood. He was like the wind, always on the go. Those who knew of Bob, know him as a sincere and respectful man with a smile on his face.

He is survived by his daughters - Rachel Hood of IL and Miranda Mills of MN; grandson - Eesten; father - Wallace (Nancy) Hood; brothers - Thomas Hood of Belgrade, MN and Kevin Hood of Bird Island, MN; brother-in-law - Thomas Schilling of Wanda, MN; along with many aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces. He was preceded in death by his mother - Vivian; sister - Susan Schilling, and a niece - Leah.

Bob found happiness, comfort, and a feeling of being free when his sister Susan moved him to Wanda to spend his final years.
