Robert Hauan

Robert A. Hauan was born May 3, 1929, in Watertown, MN, the son of Leif and Clara (Harnack) Hauan. He lived on a farm with his parents until the family moved to Maple Plain in 1939. They then moved to Wanda until Robert entered the Revere Home in 1977. He moved to Valley View Manor in October of 1988. Robert was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Willow Lake Township and enjoyed puzzles, country western music, suckers, and Model-T cars. He also enjoyed teasing the nurses at the nursing home, being outside, tractors, and playing checkers. Robert always had a smile for you and he enjoyed watching the animals. Robert A. Hauan died Thursday, March 16, 2006, at Valley View Manor at the age of 76 years. He is survived by sister Evelyn Saffert of Springfield and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother, and sister Elizabeth 'Betty' Miller.
