Robert "Bobby" "Peewee" Fischer

Robert "Bobby" "PeeWee" Fischer, age 81 of Hanska, MN died on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at his home. Robert "Bobby" Willis Fischer was born on December 19, 1939 in Sleepy Eye, MN to John and Bertha (Eckstein) Fischer. He grew up near Hanska where he attended country school. He lived and farmed in rural Hanska his entire life. He was married to Gloria Dauer and later Karen Seys. Bobby was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Eagles and the Sportsmans Club, all in Sleepy Eye. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, bowling and snowmobiling in his younger years. He is survived by his sons, Rick (Becky) Fischer of Annandale, their children Elizabeth McKillip and Mitch Nelson, Curtis Fischer of San Diego, CA, daughters, Katti (Robert) Penkaty of Mankato, their son Dylan Hutchings, Brenda Hawker and special friend, Darv Turbes of New Ulm and her children Justin Hawker and Nathan Hawker, Lisa (Leo) Wallace and their children Chad Wallace and Shannon Wilson and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Viola, LaVerna, John, Wallace and Walter.
