Rita Turbes

Rita Marie Turbes was born June 9, 1937 in Springfield, the daughter of John and Mathilda (Hornick) Turbes. She attended St. Raphael's Catholic School in Springfield and St. Anne's Catholic School in Wabasso. In 1946 Rita moved with her family to a farm near Wabasso. She later lived at REM in Marshall and in the late 1970's she moved to the Revere Home in Revere, MN. In 1995 Rita became a resident at Sunwood Care Center in Redwood Falls, MN. She was a former member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church and a current member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Rita died on Friday, December 16, 2005 at the Sunwood Care Center in Redwood Falls, MN at the age of 68 years, 6 months, and 7 days. She is survived by her sisters - Judy and husband Don Goblish of Vesta, Joleen and husband Gary Teick of Redwood Falls, and Mary and husband Jerome Moldan of Sleepy Eye; brothers- Gerry and wife Rita of Worthington and Robert and wife Carol of Billings, MT; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister in infancy.
