Ricky Lee Piepgras

Ricky "Ric" Lee Piepgras, age 69, of Madelia, Minnesota, died on October 23, 2025, at his home. Visitation will be on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Faith Lutheran Church - Madelia, MN.

Funeral Service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church - Madelia on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM.

Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Madelia, MN.

Ricky Lee Piepgras was born November 23, 1955, to John and Helen (Burley) Piepgras in Madelia. He graduated from Madelia High School in 1974. On November 29, 1975, he married his high school sweetheart, Jane Piepgras. They were blessed with three children and 50 years of marriage. Together, they all created many special memories.

Ric's career began in high school when he started cutting meat at Etter's grocery store. He continued his career at various stores in the area and retired from Sunshine Foods in 2021. In his free time, Ric enjoyed being outside doing things in his yard, out in the woods, golfing, or helping his kids with things around their homes. Ric enjoyed playing a variety of sports over the years, along with watching sports and cheering on his children and grandchildren. Some of his favorite memories were times spent with the hunting party. He was eager to butcher a deer for anyone who asked.

Ric is survived by his wife, Jane Piepgras; children, Steven (Stephanie) Piepgras, Stacy (Steve) Uhde, Robbie (Rachel) Piepgras; 10 grandchildren, Dain Uhde, Mackenzie Luebesmier, Carter Ahern, Cole Uhde, Addie Ahern, Jake Uhde, Madeline Luebesmier, Owen Piepgras, Eli Piepgras, and Marley Piepgras; great-grandchildren, Maevelyn Uhde, Rhett Klause, Quinn Uhde, Wesley Klause; siblings Brenda (Pat) Mosser, Dave (Mary) Piepgras, Kathy (Scott) Broste.

Ric was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Piepgras, and grandson Riley Sargent.
