Richard Sharpsteen

Richard Sharpsteen, age 85, of St. James, died at the St. James Medical Center on Thursday, April 24, 2008. Richard Harold Sharpsteen was born in St. James, MN, on November 28, 1922 to parents Frank and Nora (Petersen) Sharpsteen. He was raised in St. James where he attended St. James Public School. Richard served in the Army from 1943 until 1946. He worked in various auto service stations prior to owning and operating City Service for serval years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, V.F.W. and American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Ray and Edward. He is survived by his sister Jeanette Johnson of St. James and 9 nieces and nephews.
