Richard Bernard Juenemann was born February 8, 1923 in Willow Lake Township, Redwood County to John and Agatha (Hillesheim) Juenemann. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Clements and attended District 67 country school. Richard served with the U.S. Army from 1944-46 and served overseas with the 44th Recon Division troop. Following his honorable discharge, he returned to farm with his father and brothers on the family farm. Richard was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and enjoyed hunting, trapping, and old time music. He is survived by brothers- Denis and wife Pat, and Bennett and wife Shirley; sister Bernice Goblirsch; 36 nieces and nephews; several grandnieces and grandnephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters- Dorothy Sellner and Laurene Hoehn; brother Herbert; baby boy Juenemann in infancy; brothers-in-law- Clement Sellner, Lawrence Goblirsch, and Gilbert Hoehn; and nephew Kevin Goblirsch.
