Raymond Sellner

Raymond Sellner, 68, of Ree Heights, SD formerly of Sleepy Eye, MN died on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. There will be a parish prayer service at 7pm, at the funeral home on Wednesday. Raymond Joseph Frank Sellner was born on January 31, 1940 on the family farm in Albin Township, MN, the son of Ed Matilda (Seidl) Sellner. He was baptized February 11, 1940 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. He married Delores Landkammer on March 29, 1958 at St. Mary's Parish House in Sleepy Eye. He was married for 25 years to Delores, during the marriage Raymond and his family lived in Comfrey, Leavenworth and Sleepy Eye. He was employed as a truck driver throughout his adult life until his untimely death. Raymond and Delores divorced March 29, 1982. After their divorce Raymond moved to Ree Heights, SD where he lived with his special friend, Mary DeGeest until his death. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and his many friends. He is survived his children, Deborah (Willis) Booze Jr. of Bingham Lake, Chandra (Mark) Krenz of Sleepy Eye, Doug (special friend, Gloria) of St. Peter, Stacy (Jeff) Walter of Granite Falls, 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Mildred Baker of Sleepy Eye, Leona Platz of Springfield, Patricia (Raymond) Seifert of New Ulm, Phillis (Delbert) Westman of Mankato, Eddie (Bernice) Sellner of Leavenworth, Melania Meyer of Sleepy Eye, Rosella (Jim) Stimpert Sleepy Eye, Paul (Helen) Sellner of Sioux Falls, Florian (Patty) Sellner of Sleepy Eye, Joyce (Gary) Berg of Darfur, Beatrice (Tom) Koop of Courtland, Larry (Sandy) Sellner of Sleepy Eye, special friend, Mary DeGeest of Ree Heights, SD, her children, Robert (Sue) DeGeest, their children, Steven and Kirsten of Huron, William DeGeest of Brookings and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Rita and MaryAnn and great granddaughter, Alexa Konz.
