Ray was born to Joseph Theresa (Liebl) Lang in Sleepy Eye, MN on January 26, 1921. He grew up and attended school in Sleepy Eye. Ray served in the United States Army from 1942 until 1946 during WWII. He served with the Medic Unit in Normandy and was a survivor of the D-Day invasion. Ray returned to Sleepy Eye and worked at the Sleepy Eye Golf Club and the Servicemen's Club for several years. He lived at Ross Park Apartments since November of 2002. Raymond J. Lang, age 85, of Sleepy Eye, MN died on Friday, November 10, 2006 at the Sleepy Eye Medical Center. He is survived by his brother, Michael Lang of Worthington, MN and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Joe Jr., George, Michael, Sr. and Leonard and three sisters, Ann, Theresa and Mary.
