Randy Burton Wilson was born on October 6th, 1959 to Robert and Georgia (Moore) Wilson in Wells, MN. He was baptized and later confirmed at the United Church of Mapleton. He spent his childhood growing up with his 6 sisters and 1 brother on the family farm where he helped raise livestock and crops. Randy graduated from Delavan High School in 1977. He married Tracey Firchau on June 25th, 1986. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Ashley and Kyle; they were married for 31 years. Randy and his family lived in Mapleton, MN until 1996 when they moved to Arizona. In 2004 Randy and his family moved back to Minnesota and lived in Mountain Lake for 14 years. Randys greatest joys in life came in 2005 and 2008 with the birth of his grandchildren, Chase and Chloie. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was always willing to help anyone that needed it. Randy also loved to drive semi and had done so for many years in his life. Randy passed away Tuesday, January 16th, 2018. He was well known for his big heart, quick wit and cheeky personality. When he walked into a room he would light it up with his humor and personality, it was never a dull moment. Randy will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. He is survived by his wife Tracey (Mountain Lake, MN); children Ashley and Bruce Jensen (Mountain Lake, MN), Kyle Wilson (Mapleton, MN); Grandchildren Chase and Chloie Jensen (Mountain Lake, MN); Parents Robert and Georgia Wilson of Delavan, MN; Mother in law Dianne Firchau of Lewisville, MN; brother and sisters Diane (Denny) Schroeder of Waldorf, MN, Cindy (Steve) Massop of Mapleton, MN, Brenda (Craig) Timmerman of Mapleton, MN, Cheryl (Dan) Haugh of Delavan, MN , Robert Jr. (Bev) Wilson of Shakopee, MN, Pat (Mike) Falck of Amery, WI, Jolene (Max) Hopkins of Elk River, MN; brothers and sister in law Jeff (Nettie) Firchau of Lewisville, MN, Jim (Jody) Firchau of St. James, MN, Robin (Tim) Bocock of Mankato, MN, Kevin Christenson of Dallas, TX, Robert Firchau Jr. of Sioux Falls, SD; 15 Nephews, 15 Nieces; 22 Great Nephews, 14 Great Nieces; and many more extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Rex and Myrtle Wilson, maternal grandparents George and Velma Moore, and Niece Megan Hopkins.
