Randall Metli

Due to the weather, funeral has been rescheduled to Friday at 2pm. Randall Arthur Metli was born June 20, 1955 at Jackson, MN, to parents Arthur Norma Jean (Poelaert) Metli. Randy grew up and attended school in Jackson. For several years, the family lived in Glenwood, MN, before returning to Jackson. He met Marcia in Jackson while she was attending vocational school. They were married on November 10, 1978 at Morris, MN. The couple made their home in Morris where Randy worked as a carpenter with his uncle Ken. In 1981, they moved to St. James where he worked for Olson Engineering, St. James Plating, Tony Downs and Scherr Tumico. Randy loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed listening to music. He loved his dogs, Bandit and Katie. He always valued relatives and friends and enjoyed their company. His sense of humor will never be forgotten. He was a member of the Jaycees, bowling league, pool league and darts. He is proceded in death by his father Arthur Metli and his mother Norma Jean Schnoll. He is survived by his wife Marcia Metli of St. James, brother Robert (Lana) Metli of Ault, CO, step-mother LuAnn Robinson of Iowa, step-brother Jeff Metli family of Iowa, step-sister Jean Metli family, nieces Bobbi Jo Metli of Milford, IA, Jamie Metli daughter Laila of Ft. Collins, CO, Mackenzie Metli of Wellington, CO, father-in-law mother-in-law Roland Virgene Joblinske of St. James, sister-in-law Cheryl Joblinske of New Ulm, many in-laws and cousins.
