Ramona Jones

Ramona was born on October 12th, 1945 in Sleepy Eye, MN the daughter of Roland Ruth (Christensen) Domke. She grew up and attended school in Sleepy Eye. After she completed her schooling, she married William Jones on April 2, 1966 at the St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Sleepy Eye. They made their home in Sleepy Eye where Ramona worked for Haas Press (Norwood Publishing) Ramona later worked at Country Side Apratments until her health failed. She was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Sleepy Eye. Ramona enjoyed going to Jackpot Junction and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters, Jamie (Doug) VanOverbeke of Sleepy Eye, Jeana Beach of Sleepy Eye, 5 grandchildren, Riki Goldschmidt (fiancee Nicholas Nachreiner), Nikki Goldschmidt (fiancee Jason Blank), Jeremy Goldschmidt (special friend Alyssa Helget), Brittany Windschitl (fiance Joseph Lee, III) and Jared Spaeth, 3 step-grandchildren, Andrea, Adam and Dustin VanOverbeke, 7 great-grandchildren, Parker Trystin Goldschmidt, Trevor, Trenton Natalee Nachreiner and Jasmyne Johseph Lee, IV, 1 step-great-grandchild, Ashton VanOverbeke, sister, Rose Utz (Don Commins) of Fairfax and nephew, Lonny Utz of Sleepy Eye. She was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, Steve Goldschimdt, grandson, Brandon Spaeth, brother-in-law, Ronald Utz and niece, Kelly Utz.
