Ralph Moody, 83, of Sanborn, MN, died Tuesday, October 2, 2007, at his home in Sanborn, MN. Ralph Clarence Moody was born to Ellis and Theresa (Schnobrich) Moody in Stately Township on January 31, 1924. He attended country school and then worked on the family farm. Ralph was confirmed at Christ Lutheran Church in Stately Township on April 10, 1938. He was united in marriage to Gloria Johnson at Sundown Lutheran Church on March 20, 1948. They farmed in Stately Township and he also sold Cargill seed. Ralph was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church and was a past member of the church council. He enjoyed deer hunting, baking cakes and pies, watching wrestling and he loved to eat. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Ralph died Tuesday, October 2, 2007, at his home in Sanborn, MN. Ralph is survived by his son - John and wife Jean Moody of Sanborn; six daughters - Jonlee Miriam and husband Edward Brown of Cottage Grove, MN, Patti Jo and husband Daniel Lawrenz of Chaska, MN, Sue Ann and husband Gregory Hartwig of Winsted, MN, Jean Therese and husband Michael McAlpine of Sioux Center, IA, Julie Kay and husband Brad Kircher of Sanborn, MN, Jennifer Ann and husband Peter Boorsman of Victoria, MN, 20 grandchildren - Theresa, Craig, Michael, Penny, Rosemarie, Justina, Aron, Daris, Joshua, Anastasia, Mitchell, David, Adam, Sarah, Heather, Alex, Alison and Zachary, Benjamin and Hallie; 12 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife - Gloria in 2002, sister - Valoris and husband Wilfred Burginger
