There will be a Parish Prayer Service on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Ralph Henry Juenemann was born March 28, 1924, in North Star Township, Brown County, the son of Oscar and Barbara (Hillesheim) Juenemann. He attended School District #56 and was enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1945, serving during World War II. Following his Honorable Discharge, Ralph farmed for many years. After his retirement, he enjoyed driving tractor for his nephews. Ralph was a member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church and John Watson American Legion Post #257. He enjoyed fishing and farming, and the company of his everyday companion, his dog 'Lady'. Ralph Henry Juenemann died Saturday, April 25, 2009, at the Springfield Medical Center Hospital at the age of 85 years. He is survived by brother Willard; sisters- Rosemary Ochs and Marilyn King; sister-in-law Phyllis Juenemann; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers- Delbert, Gerald, and Jerome; and sisters- Irene Groebner and Delores Platz.
