Phyllis Jane Sellner

Phyllis "Jane" Sellner was born on July 2, 1936 the daughter of Harold and Lucille (Krier) Christensen in Tyler, MN. She grew up in Tyler and graduated from high school. Jane was united in marriage to Herman Sellner on November 26, 1955 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. She worked as a nurses aid at the Sleepy Eye Hospital from 1954-1967 and later worked at 3M for 30 years. After her retirement, she worked with her husband at the library. Jane enjoyed walks with Herm, golfing, fishing, cooking and spending time with family and grandchildren. She was a member of a card club for 30 years and also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Jane is survived by her children Joey (Michelle) Sellner of New Ulm, Daniel Sellner of Sleepy Eye, Janelle (Randy) Aspelund of Sleepy Eye, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, siblings, Theresa (Vern) Smith of Zumbro Falls, John (Eleanor) Christensen of Rochester, Victor (Marge) Christensen of Minneapolis, sisters-in-law, Fran Bertsch of Brooten, and Pat Christensen of Pine Island, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 brothers, Fred and Dennis Christensen, daughter-in-law, Lacinda Sellner, brother-in-law, Edward Bertsch and granddaughter, Danielle Sellner.
