Peyton Lynn Moldan

Peyton L. Moldan, age 18 of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Sleepy Eye Medical Center surrounded by the love of her family. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at St. John's Lutheran Church in Sleepy Eye. A memorial service will follow at 5:00 pm. The clergy will be Pastor Tim Berg. Interment will be at Home Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye. Peyton Lynn Moldan, the daughter of Keith and Melissa (Helget) Moldan, was born on November 10, 2007, in Sleepy Eye. She was raised with her big sister, Brooklyn, in Sleepy Eye and attended Sleepy Eye Public School.

Peyton loved spending her time watching TV with her sister, listening to music, and being held in the safe and loving arms of her mom. Having Grandma Susie read books to her was one of her absolute favorite activities. She also loved looking at and being surrounded by twinkly lights. Peyton brought infinite joy and endless love to her family. She will be missed beyond measure.

Peyton is survived by her mom, Melissa Moldan (Mark Sellner); sister, Brooklyn Moldan; grandparents, Wesley and Laurie Helget and Susie Moldan; uncle, Jason (Heide) Helget; aunt, Kathy (Mark) Moldaschel; several cousins; and many other loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Keith Moldan and her grandfather, Raymond Moldan.
