Peter Tierney

Peter was born July 21, 1955 in Madelia, MN. He grew up in Madelia and attended St. Mary Catholic School and graduated from Madelia High School in 1973. He Married Valerie Pitts on July 28, 1973. On October 12,1974 they had a daughter Lauren. He married Nancy Bleckestad on October 4,1980. On November 31,1983 they had a son Mitch. They made their home in Madelia. Pete was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Madelia. He enjoyed auto shows, drag racing, working on cars, going to rock concerts, playing cards, watching movies, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered with his sense of humor and kind heart and his generosity. He is survived by his son Mitch Tierney of Rosemount, MN; brother Michael Tierney of Madelia, MN, sisters Peggy Larson of New Ulm, MN, Lynn (Charles) Wagner of St. James, MN, Bev Tierney of St. James, MN; 2 uncles, 2 aunts; 4 nephews, nine nieces and a grandchild Dalton Kleinschmidt. Pete is preceded in death by his parents; brother John; daughter Lauren Kleinschmidt; nephew Terrance Tierney.
