Pearl Marilyn Ziegenhagen

Pearl M. Ziegenhagen age 88, of Clements, MN died on February 23, 2025, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield, MN.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Zion Lutheran Church-Springfield. Funeral service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church-Springfield, on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 11:00 am. The clergy will be Chaplain Noel Wetter. Interment will be at the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, in Clements, Minnesota.

Pearl Marilyn Ziegenhagen was born at home on January 5th, 1937 to Gilbert and Gertrude (Muenchow) Iverson in Springfield, MN. She was the New Year’s baby of Springfield. Pearl was baptized and later confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Springfield. She graduated from Springfield Public in 1955 and was the homecoming queen of her class. She went to secretarial school in Minneapolis. On December 22, 1955 Pearl married Calvin Ziegenhagen of Clements at Zion Lutheran Church. They lived in Clements and raised four children, Shari, Cindy, Terry, and Tim. Pearl helped Cal in the Clements credit union, the Ziegenhagen Insurance Agency, and with farming. She was a member of the Clements American Legion Auxiliary. Pearl was an artist and loved traveling and painting on location in many different countries, including Norway, England, Italy, Greece, and Russia. She painted lions and wildlife in Africa.

Pearl is survived by her children - Shari (Tucker) Loomis, Cindy (John) Folsom, Terry (John Hemmesch), and Tim (Patricia Gott); 5 grandchildren - Heather (Mike) Hille, Brandon (Alicia) Loomis, Christian (Ann Berkner) Loomis, Ashley (Nate) Bohmbach, and Tyler (Maddie) Folsom; and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister Phyllis and brother Gary.
