Pearl Ellevold

Pearl June Ellevold was born on September 29, 1932 in Eden Township, Brown County, MN, the daughter of Julius and Emily Netzke. She attended country school in Eden Township and Morgan High School. On September 15, 1968 she was united in marriage to Ronald Ellevold in New Ulm, MN. The couple has lived in Sleepy Eye for the past 27 years. Pearl worked for the Servicemen Club in Sleepy Eye and the Sleepy Eye Golf Course. Pearl was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Sleepy Eye. She enjoyed time at the lake, religious cross word puzzles, and especially time with her family. Pearl died on Friday, December 28, 2007 at the Sleepy Eye Medical Center from complications for Emphysema at the age of 75 years. She is survived by her husband - Ronald Ellevold of Sleepy Eye; children - Becky (Steve) Hammerschmidt of Redwood Falls, Tim (Lynn) Fromm of Fairbault, Lorie Tauer of Gibbon, Jeff Fromm of Sleepy Eye, Greg Fromm of Sleepy Eye, and Joe Ellevold of Sleepy Eye; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; mother - Emily Netzke; a brother - Ron (Becky) Netzke of Evan, and a sister - Elaine (Lamonte) Helget of Sleepy Eye. She is preceded in death by her father - Julius Netzke; mother-in-law - Lila Quast; aunts, uncles, and a nephew.
