Hope Cemetery in St. James Patricia Wendtland, age 83, of St. James died on Thursday, September 16, 2010, at the Luther Memorial Home in Madelia. Patricia Kathleen Wendtland was born September 19, 1926, in St. James, MN, the daughter of Carl and Cecelia (Stenberg) Wendtland. She grew up in St. James where she graduated from high school. She attended a radio control program in Kansas City then went to work for Northwest Airlines as a radio controller. She retired in 1987. While working for Northwest Airlines she had the opportunity to travel the world. She enjoyed watching sports on TV and a little gambling at Jackpot. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Betty. She is survived by several cousins.
